The primary purpose of the makeup artist course is to train the student in how to choose makeup colors to complement each client’s skin tones, facial features and more. Through hands-on training, the students will gain the techniques and confidence to apply colors, tones and shades that suit any client perfectly. Each student will be able to learn information and techniques within the course to include some of the latest trends with integrated demonstrations and hands-on student practice.
Objectives: Upon completion of the course requirement, the student will be trained in makeup artistry and beautification of the face preparing the student to be considered a professional as a Makeup Artist. Beyond Beauty Academy will instruct the student in all phases of makeup, care of the skin, sanitation as well as to develop professional work habits and attitudes necessary to acquire and maintain employment. Students will learn all techniques through classroom and clinic experience. A typical day will consist of a combination of theory, practical, clinical experiences. The course is fast-paced, giving the student a lot of information in a short period of time.
